Cadets participated in the first socratic seminar of this school year. This was more of a crash course focusing on summer reading books and the themes of leadership and empathy. Socratic seminars are student centered and build strong and effective communication skills. Their insights and use of evidence from characters and plot lines from summer reading showing understanding of empathy and leadership were impressive.
