Human Stories of 911- Why We Care

Cadets read various short articles about specific human experiences that occurred during and after the events of 911 and reflected on these stories in a class discussion. Sadly, 911 fits into our exploration of “What Makes Us Human” in a tragic way, however, stories of heroism, compassion, and selflessness help to bring cadets closer to a true understanding of empathy and their own power to make a positive difference.
